Went to play kite at this dunno what taman at Kepong few days ago (I really don't know what name, sorry :P), suppose lots of people saw kites flying passing by Kepong, yeah it's there lar. There were like 10 of us who went, whole bunch of people in their 20's went to play kites, with kids flooding the area running around, quite funny.

Took us something to actually figure out the location of main entrance, you know lar KL once you pass the place need to turn one big round only can come back, damn mafan one lor. We arrived around 5.40 I think, supposed to meet there with the others at 5. But surprisingly we were the first ones there =_= everyone insisted to be punctual.

Small pond in the garden

When everyone arrived, we noticed that we had only 1 kite for 10 of us, so we bought another one. Doesn't really matter though, afterall that's not the main reason, just some sort of excuse for us to meet up and have dinner together later on, whahahaa.

Girls mah, likes camwhoring, wait, I meant her, not me

At first few of us tried to fly the kite lor, but still fail after a few tries. The wind was really weak that day. Then I ran a few rounds also, can fly lar, just couldn't maintain the kite up there for long :(.

Eat Icecream also must take picture lar

When everyone started to give up and discuss where to go for dinner, I suddenly feel dizzy, then I headed to the mart alone to get some drinks. Not too long until I realise that I'm starting to lose my consciousness, starting to lose my eye sight. I quickly sit down on a bench, breathed as hard as I could.

I was scared because I haven't experience this in years already. I thought I would need help from my friends so I struggled to stand up, headed to my friends, they were like 20 to 30 metres away. On my way there I couldn't balance myself anymore, I fell down, and had a few seconds blackout. I couldn't see anything, but I heard my friends talking. They came and checked me out, gave me some sodas. I heard somebody meantioned :" I think we should bring him to the hospital" haha.

After 1 tin of 100 Plus and another tin of Coke I slowly regain my consciousness, sat up and rest there. Then I realise I injured both of my knees when I fell down. My friends think it was because of low sugar level. (Okay lar I admit, I was on diet, but I did ate something that day before I went!) P/S: I think my dad is going to lecture me for like 1 hour if he found that I fainted because of diet, LOL.

My left knee after 4 days, small matter lar but this is meant to make you guys vomit :P

I was resting while the others have their meeting/debate, people are shouting "OI GO WHERE EAT??"

With the guys

And everyone else, except YingYing because she failed to get somebody else to take picture for us

So I washed off the blood on my knees, stood up after feeling okay, everyone is relieved and continued their discussion for dinner. We did abit of camwhoring and head for dinner. The conclusion was Korean food!

At first we went to a Korean restaurant, sat down. Then a friend called and suggested us to go to another restaurant, then we did a super pai seh thing. We stood up, told the waiter we came to the wrong place, and left. LOL *cover my face* We went to another Korean Restaurant, DaoRae. Quite famous in Malaysia, because TVXQ / DBSK went there for the opening during their Malaysia tour. (Incase you don't know who are those, congratz, I wish I don't know them too.)

DAORAE, What it means in Korean?

When we arrived we saw a long queue, with lots of people waiting outside the shop. WTF =.= the Korean boss said he had no idea how long that we have to wait. So no choice lar, we gave up, and went to a Steak house style cafe just beside DaoRae. Sad me, I saw so many TV/newspaper food show posters and stuff at that restaurant and was so eager to try out the Korean food there T_T.

But the cafe not bad lor, I had the cheapest Sirloin in my life. Black pepper sirloin cost RM12.50 only. Not superb taste lar but not bad lor, worth a try for that price. That particular shop got 50% promotion for every steak (include chicken and lamb, but exclude my favourite salmon :( ) you order if you order another glass of drink, consider not bad lor.

Somebody took picture of food afterall, Aloha Chicken

All damn hungry, who took this picture? LOL

We sat like 2-3 hours at the shop just for dinner before we left, too much to chat. I think we'll try out DaoRae next time, Yeah I want to try too ~ Ciao.

Don't know why nowadays wanna go out so much, feeling broke but still spent like crazy, haha. Went to Pavilion with Juno, because both of us have nothing to do in a nice (heavy rain) Sunday afternoon, so we wanna shop lar! You think only gals love shopping meh? I don't think so lor! :P

I woke up at 3pm+ and mo here mo there abit, by the time we reach there its already around 5pm. Bad for us we set nice nice hand hand some some already go out big rain, reach Pavilion that time already look like sakais, LOL.

At 5pm we went to Pavilion food court cari makan, after survey one round I still go back to my favourite stall, the vietnamese! The beef hor fun there really nice lor, but ate before already so I ordered this Saigon Seafood Fried Noodle, Juno also order same thing but he insist wanna try that beef noodle, I keep spam that beef noodle very nice, LOL. So we thought wanna walk until hungry then come back for dinner at the same place.

So we walk around here and there, went into 29318938291312 shops but bought nothing. Then we saw BMW road show, went to "open eye sight" a little, cannot afford to buy also can look see look see mar, haha. There was this new BMW Z4 Sport car, so sexy lor, but cost rm580 k lar, 5 years later sure can afford anyway, confidence! After that went to Coffee Bean to drink my favourite vanila coffee, still nice and owns Starbucks like forever.

Me driving the almighty BMW Z4 sDrive 35, okay lar not driving but still :P

From the rear

Toy BMW car, wonder how much it cost? Ori one not ciplak!

Thought wanna watch Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen at Wednesday, so called some friends to ajak a lil. Then head to GSC to get tickets and I was really shocked. WTF it's sunday but tuesday, wednesday and thursday ticket for 7pm-10pm all sold out. So popular meh Transformers? T_T

Fan made poster obviously, LOL @ Much More Megan Fox, hahaha

The official one

Then no choice lor, watched the trailer and left. The trailer at GSC was longer version than the one I watched on YouTube, nice lar make me feel like wanna watch it immediately. Then head back to my one and only interest shop - Esprit!

After look see look see then I decided to buy a jeans, but then I was high and obssessed to get the Esprit membership card, so bought another T-shirt + Juno's 2 T-shirt to total up until we get over RM300. It was so complicated because of some "normal price items with normal discount" and "discounted item" facts, which I don't wanna explain here. At last we got ourselves a total of like RM400 item, that actually cost RM320 after discount. Finally can get the membership card of my favourite brand jor, yeah :P

Lurve Esprit

And I wanna celebrate lor, I bought my first M size T-shirt in like many many many many years, can wear M size dy, damn happy, LOL.

See or not? M size! Finally T_T

At last we were so broke that we decided not to dine at Pavilion already, ended up eating at mamak stall back at home, so cham T.T Anyway still got few outings this week ler, wanna save for upcoming ones. Juno have one session of Transformers at Wed morning then another one with me and the others at night, nice movie, so double up lar watch 2 times :D

P/S:
Why no picture of me and Juno? Because we don't camwhore like the gals :P
Why no picture of food? Too Hungry Lar!

Yeah after so long the long awaited new iPhone is finally announced - The iPhone 3G S (To those who just bought a new iPhone 3G, R.I.P). What? What's the difference? Got "S" lar, can see or not? Blind ar? LOL

The phone will be released June 2009, it's almost 1 year after the first release of iPhone 3G. This time it comes with a choice of 16/32 gb instead of the 8/16 one. Might expect a few months of delay until it reaches the Malaysian shore, so still got some time to work your ass off for the cash!

Let's take a look on a few major specification changes compared to the iPhone 3G.

Pros:
*Camera : 3.15 mp with auto focus (Previously 2 mp with no auto focus)
*Battery Life: 30 hours music time (Previously 24 hours)
*Bluetooth: Bluetooth v2.1 with data transfer supported (Previously only support earphones)

Cons:
*Almost guranteed that the price will raise when it comes to Malaysia (Compared to existing iPhone 3G), still relatively higher price than same standard smartphones of LG, Samsung, HTC.
*A camera with auto focus but no flash??!!

Yes, the price might be high, you can get a 5mp or even 8mp camera smartphone with better functions out there. But from my opinion, I just love the Mac OS, and if I'm buying the phone, I'd be paying for the OS, not the shitty camera. A brand new iPod touch in Malaysia cost RM1.6k, with 1.6k you can get a iPhone 3G from Maxis with a 1 year contract which contains all the functions of iPod touch and also a nice and stylish phone.

Come on guys before flaming me, this is like what LV, Gucci and Prada did to the girls all around the world! I really wanted to get one myself but I dont think I have money for it, so it remains in my dream :P

Yesterday and today I had been busy settling stuff for my uni application, which turns out to be really tiring and disappointing.

I called them yesterday morning, asked them if I can collect my offer letter. They called me back, and claim that I can collect it so immediately I prepared and went to UTAR PJ from Taman Melati. Took a cab to LRT station, then spent 40minutes on the LRT to reach PJ, take another cab to UTAR.

Right before I step into the admission office, I received another call. It says "UTAR PJ". I was about to say I'm already here, but the ah gua said, actually you have to collect your letter at KL Campus. I was like WTF you asked me to come and now this. I asked politely if I can collect it at PJ and he replied: Your course is at Setapak MAAAA of course you must collect at Setapak LARRRR. OS: "You asked me to come, WTF"

Okay so I accepted the fact, it was to late to collect it back at KL so I went to KL campus the next day. Wasted like RM20 just for transport. I woke up abit late the next day, went to TARC to settle something, then arrived at UTAR at their lunch hour. Actually their staff was inside there but they din't bother to entertain me at all.

At last when I finally get to talk to someone, she said that my offer letter is not here yet. WTF?! PJ asked me to collect here and you told me that it's not here yet? Of course I asked in a polite manner, and the lecture starts.

Communication style between campuses

"That's why lar, you all always wanna apply last minute, then u all come and rush us, we rush PJ, PJ scold us lor, waiting for result also can apply first ma". OS: Apply need pay RM500 if my result not ok I cannot refund the RM500 lar, auntie!

The communication between 2 campus is so poor, the services, the manners are worst than the mamak stall at my place. And I doubt if they used telephone / email, Retarted Uni!

To UTAR:

Hi.

After months of vacations finally I can go back to study already *excited*, just don't feel like wasting time anymore doing nothing.

Got an offer from underminer a few days ago to work as media at several Dota sites ( DA and Garena ) for upcoming Asia Cyber Games because I previously worked for the best eSports site - myMYM before they got screwed by their sponsors. Just decided to reject it because that's really time consuming.

Back in serious stuff, my result is finally out, and surprisingly I got an A-, I expected it to be at the boarder of fail and pass, haha. Thanks to Juno and Xt because they promised to pray for me *touched*, but i know Juno sure blow water only one, haha.

Traveled down to KL yesterday, such a busy schedule. Kuantan -> KL (Titiwangsa) -> Taman Melati. Then continued this morning Taman Melati -> PJ -> Shah Alam. I'm at my home at Shah Alam now, and will leave for Kuala Pilah (Negeri Sembilan) in like few more minutes and then back to Kuantan. Wow faint.

Submitted my Application form at Utar PJ this morning but sadly haven't receive any offer letter or bills yet, not sure if I'll attend Monday classes.

I wanted to watch Monsters vs Aliens, my friends are going to watch it tonight but I can't make it back to Kuantan in time T_T

Ciao.

Went for a 3 days 2 night trip at Redang Island, a really exhausting one, like half of our group fell sick after / during the trip, including myself :(

I went to shop alone for short pants like 4 hours before my bus to Kuala Terengganu, get back to home, packed my stuff in 15 minutes and left. The 1 am bus arrived at KT at 4 am in the morning, we had to wait for 3 hours before someone come and pick us up. Basically we ate abit at the bus station, shopped abit at 7-11, and I played with Pon pon's Ipod Touch while the others slept.

Very concentrated listening to leng lui

Everyone were so tired that they went to sleep right after they got their room keys at Redang, only few of us went for a walk to explore the resort a little bit. We grabbed our snorkeling tools and went snorkeling after our lunch.

It was really a funny experience, despite helping those who can't really get used to the sea and swim, the guides kept frightening them with sea cucumbers and corals. I must say the government did a really good job keeping Redang sea unpoluted, the water is still crystal clear.

Resting beside the boat

Baby Sharks

When we're not out there snorkeling, we'll stick to games like Mahjong, flying darts, Rami, Pool, Ping pong. What? Why did we travel all the way to Redang Island to play table games? Because we just like it that way :P At night our singers went to sing some karaoke, too bad nobody snapped pictures of them singing.

Playing around beside the beach

Volleyball, OMG that guy

See also know red ball go in la, pro pro ^^

Wah nervous, fall down or not?

At the first night I'm already having sorethroat, and it got worst in the 2nd morning. Still there's another snorkeling trip waiting, this time at the famous Redang Marine Park. The park is really awesome, lots and lots of fishes that surrounds you, not afraid of humans. We should've bought a undersea water and take some pictures :(

Inside got ghost @@

Too exhausted after snorkeling

We skipped the last snorkeling trip and went to Redang main beach area sight-seeing. Which we took hell lots of pictures. We also played Beach volleyball and kayak at evening. I was really ill on the second night having headache, slight fever, sorethroat, running nose (OMG H1N1? LOL), so I went to sleep earlier while the others continued their Rami frenzy.

Take leng lui's spec to take photo

Yeah finally, no take this picture cannot say you went to Redang ler

Once again I present to you F.I.R, middle that one is girl

This leng lui stomachache, I go kacau ^^

Had to leave at the 3rd day, our ferry was at 12pm but we had to check out at 9am. We packed, checked out, and continued Mahjong-Rami-ing, took some last moment pictures and say goodbye to Redang Island.

Off-Topic : We took a Transnational bus from Kuala Terengganu to Kuantan, cost an additional 2 Ringgit and like 100 times sucker. The bus looks like some 1970's bus with pampers, rubbish, insects and idiots. Some Malay teens actually molested one of my friend. (Please note that the key word is not "Malay") Worst of all, it took freaking 4 and a half hours to reach Kuantan, that's 1 and a half hour longer than our first ride to KT.
Monday, 18 May 2009

I'm on a travel marathon in May because of the college / university holidays, despite the fact that H1N1 is already in Malaysia, everyone seems to have confidence in their beloved government, so here goes.

The first stop is Ipoh, where I actually got played T.T. At first everyone seemed to be excited and wanted to go to Keat Eng's birthday party at Ipoh, surprisingly I found out that only 4 people kept their promises :( Too late to say no, so it's a go! I'll share some interesting pictures of us and the places we went!

The first stop was Sam Poh Cave (I think?), I think most Malaysians know this place, what is in there? I'd say nothing much but turtles! The number of turtle had decreased over the years, but there were still some big ones there. Only a few of us were there, nobody else, I wonder where's all the tourists?

TURTLES!

Cute turtle, it says: Hey they don't want you to feed me, but please do so!

Then we head on to Guan Yin's Cave. I LOL-ed when I see the Japanese style decorations all over the place in a Guan Yin Temple. But the place is really beautiful, we took alot of pictures there.

What is this doing in Guan Yin's place? WTF?

ROFL

Taking picture

Qing Tian Wawa ( Sunny/weather dolls)

Bai-bai-ing, Japanese tradition: wishing to running water

Me and Chaoe

Wish cards, there's alot with phone number looking for a date!

F.I.R lose us lar, Me - Waili - MC

At night we went to Keat Eng's birthday party. It was so crowded, we gave her a Sonic gear speaker as present but she was so busy that she don't even had the time to take a look at it, haha. We ate abit, cheered for the Malaysian badminton team abit, but eventually they got pawned hard by the Chinese.

Keat Eng's dog struggling to run away

The second day was a rush one, we din't have much time. We went for breakfast at the Ipoh Oldtown. I ordered Milo but they gave me White Coffee T.T (Waitress' OS: Walao come Oldtown drink what Milo, give u White Coffee!). Then we went to the 3rd cave, Kek Lok Cave. There's a big garden behind the cave with beautiful plants, lake and scenery. Not as interesting as the previous cave but this one is definitely a place that you would like to spent hours reading a book here.

Keat Eng, Chaoe and me at Kek Lok Cave

Chaoe and Me

The last place we went was Kellie's castle, a castle owned by an English long time ago. There were tales that he built the castle for his wife, but she died in it before the castle was even completed. Some said they saw Kellie's spirit in the castle wandering around, sounds mysterious. There's quite a number of rooms, wine room, guest rooms, storeroom, there's even a lift and a secret basement tunnel to escape in case of emergency.

Half constructed / destroyed

Wanted to go into the basement

We went back to KL straight after we left Kellie's castle. This marks the end of the trip but something else happened that day. I arrived at my Condo at 4.15pm, my bus back to Kuantan was at 5. After a quick pack I rushed down, tried to get a cab to the bus station.

The taxi drivers offered RM15 (double of the actual price). I was mad because the taxi drivers there are so selfish, they wanna earn more, but never thought of understanding the financial problem of students. In fact by refusing to charge by meter, they can be warned and punished by the taxi council. I refused to pay, I took another cab to the LRT station after waiting for 10 minutes, which cost me RM3. I wouldn't even pay RM3 if I had time.

Luckily I found a really nice driver at the station that took me to the bus terminal with a fair price, and he told me that he hated those selfish taxi drivers too! I made it to the terminal 5 minutes before the departure, pretty much sums up the exciting (and frustrating) day.

Really exhausting trip because I traveled from Kuantan -> KL -> Ipoh -> KL -> Kuantan
I'll have one day rest before my next destination
Next Stop: Redang Island!!!!
